HVACR World will return to the Trade Centre Arena at Dubai World Trade Centre from 23–26 November 2026, bringing together manufacturers, consultants, contractors, developers and facility operators to explore the latest energy-efficient systems and climate-responsive technologies for the built environment.
As demand for cooling continues to rise across Egypt and the wider Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region, the exhibition will provide Egyptian industry professionals with an opportunity to discover solutions designed to improve energy efficiency, operational reliability and building performance.
According to TechSci Research, Egypt’s air-conditioning market was valued at approximately US$1.12 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach US$1.65 billion by 2030. The outlook reflects the growing importance of efficient heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) systems across the country’s construction, real estate and facilities management sectors, supported by investment in infrastructure, urban expansion and major development projects.
Endorsed by the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) and ASHRAE Falcon Chapter, HVACR World is expected to welcome more than 12,000 industry professionals and over 100 exhibitors showcasing more than 5,000 products and solutions. The exhibition will cover heating, cooling, refrigeration, ventilation, indoor air quality, smart controls and energy management, with exhibitors from China, Egypt, India, Italy, Türkiye, Spain and South Korea, among other markets.
“HVACR systems are central to maintaining occupant comfort and ensuring the long-term operational performance of buildings,” said Josine Heijmans, Senior Vice President at dmg events. “Across MEASA, from major developments to mission-critical facilities, rising performance expectations and sustainability targets are increasing the need for efficient and reliable HVACR systems.
“With the regional market forecast to reach US$18.4 billion by 2030, according to Expert Market Research, demand for solutions that balance energy efficiency with operational reliability will continue to grow. Meeting this demand requires closer collaboration between manufacturers and businesses across the HVACR value chain to maintain performance throughout a building’s lifecycle.”
Connecting the HVACR Industry with Climate-Responsive Solutions
HVACR World will showcase technologies that influence the performance of buildings and facilities, spanning air-conditioning equipment, refrigeration systems, ventilation, indoor air quality, building automation, climate controls, heat exchangers, pumps, building services engineering and alternative energy equipment.
These technologies serve a range of applications across the built environment. Healthcare facilities require precise control of indoor conditions, while data centres depend on reliable cooling infrastructure. Hospitality, manufacturing, and food and beverage operations also have specific requirements for temperature control, ventilation and system performance.
By bringing these applications together, the exhibition will enable visitors to explore technologies suited to the technical and operational requirements of their projects.
Co-located with Big 5 Global, HVACR World will feature international and regional brands operating across the HVACR sector, including AHI Carrier, Haier, Honeywell, Midea, ebm-papst, K-Flex and Greystone Energy Systems. Aerolam and Dolphin will also participate.
Commenting on Midea’s participation, Marwan Al Obaidi, Regional Director of Midea Building Technologies for the Middle East and CIS, said: “Demand for efficient, reliable and intelligent cooling solutions is growing as the Middle East’s built environment expands and buildings face increasingly complex performance requirements.
“As the HVACR Strategic Partner at Big 5 Global, we look forward to connecting with industry professionals across the region and showcasing our comprehensive portfolio, from residential and commercial air-conditioning systems to applied HVAC solutions and data-centre cooling technologies. These solutions support greater energy efficiency, occupant comfort and operational performance. The event is an important opportunity to engage with the professionals shaping HVACR specifications and project delivery.”
Technical Programme to Address Energy Efficiency and Refrigerant Transition
HVACR World will host HVACR Talks, a programme of CPD-certified sessions featuring industry experts and representatives from AHRI, ASHRAE, the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR), the European Association of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Contractors (AREA), Epta Group and Toshiba, among other organisations.
This year’s programme will focus on four key areas: sustainable cooling for data centres; reducing carbon emissions in existing buildings through HVAC retrofitting; designing resilient HVAC systems for future environmental conditions; and transitioning to alternative refrigerants while preparing for regulatory compliance.
Alongside the technical sessions, AHRI will convene a closed-door leadership roundtable to examine key industry challenges and opportunities. Discussions will cover the transition to alternative refrigerants, the development of a common sustainability framework based on Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and Product Category Rules (PCRs), and the advancement of technical standards and innovation across the region.
The programme aims to help professionals understand how evolving standards, emerging technologies and sector-specific requirements affect the systems they manage, specify and operate. Sessions will connect technical expertise with practical project and operational needs.
ASHRAE will also deliver a paid, instructor-led global training session titled Real-World Energy Management: Lessons from Hospitals, Data Centres and Commercial Facilities. Led by Hassan Younes, Co-CEO and Founder of Grfn, the training will cover energy performance, action planning, carbon management, water efficiency and relevant standards, including ISO 50001 and ASHRAE/IES Standard 100.
The exhibition will also host an invitation-only United Nations Ozone Workshop, bringing together environment ministries and National Ozone Units from West Asia and Arab League member states. The workshop will address implementation of the Kigali Amendment, the transition to refrigerants with lower global warming potential (low-GWP refrigerants), readiness for A2L refrigerants, and updated technical standards and codes.
